Upgrading your TV can come at a high expense, it's no secret that opting for a snazzy 4K ultra-high-definition device with smart capabilities like voice recognition and satellite-free streaming can hike up the price. The newest tech deal will see shoppers get paid when they buy a particular model. 

The current 'summer of sport' with the Euro's quarter-finals in play this weekend and the 2024 Paris Olympics has only fuelled providers to launch eye-catching TV deals - at the end of the day, the prospect of watching England score penalties on a quality TV may just convince you to upgrade. 

And that's exactly what deals site TopCashback (TCB) is doing for anyone who shops in the Currys sale. Devices like the JVC 40-inch Fire TV, Sony Bravia and an LG HD HDR LED TV are reduced in sales, and TCB will pay you to buy them. Popping an extra discount in shoppers' accounts when they buy. 

Anyone who makes a new member account at TCB (which is free to do) will get an extra 15% cut off the Currys sale price...an extra discount you won't get anywhere else. And it drops a huge chunk off quality screens. 

For instance, the Sony Bravia KD-50X75WLPU 5 is £599 on Curry's site, a decent price considering it has smart features like Google TV and Assitant, but by shopping through the deals site TCB you'll get more for your money. Dropping the device to £517.21 - an £81.79 saving. 

The same goes for other models, this Hisense 4K Ultra TV is a cheaper £209 in the sale but the cashback offer will save you £20.49 on its new £188.51 price. A bigger saving can be found on the LG 43LQ60006LA 43-inch Full HD HDR Smart TV, this is already discounted by £20 on the Currys site but the extra deal will save shoppers another £25, bringing the total saving to £45...not too shabby. 

To get the secret savings there are a few things you'll need to do. Of course, the first is creating a new account over at TopCashback.co.uk, and new members will also get another £15 bonus as a perk of signing up. 

The next step is key for getting the cashback amount to appear in your account, as you have to head to the TCB search bar and find Currys, don't go over to Google and shop the usual way. This ensures that your account tracks how much you spend. 

Once you've found Currys click 'Get Cashback Now' and you can shop the usual way. Pick your desired Sony, Hisense, LG or JVC TV to get the extra savings. The cashback will then appear in your TCB account within seven working days of purchase. 

As well as Currys, high street retailer John Lewis is also home to a lot of TV offers, including a £150 discount on the Panasonic TX-55MZ800B device. Of course, ahead of the upcoming Prime Sale, Amazon is another retailer to look at as its very own Fire TV devices are also around £140 cheaper to buy.
