Patriots announce training camp schedule, including joint practice with Eagles

The Patriots announced Tuesday that their training camp will kick off with an open practice on the grass fields behind Gillette Stadium on July 24. In addition, they confirmed there will be a joint practice with the Eagles Aug. 13.

The first three open workouts will be July 24-26, with gates opening to the public at 10 a.m. and practices starting at 11 a.m. In addition, the Patriots are scheduled to hold open workouts on July 28-30, Aug. 1-3, Aug. 5-6, and Aug. 12, with the same daily schedule.

There are no public practices scheduled for July 27, July 31, Aug. 4, and Aug. 7-11. The preseason opener is set for Thursday, Aug. 8, against Carolina at Gillette Stadium.

The joint practice with the Eagles will be held prior to the second preseason game, against Philadelphia on Aug. 15. The Patriots will wrap up the preseason schedule at Washington on Sunday, Aug. 25, at 8 p.m.
