IPsyNet works around the world to increase understanding of sexual orientation and gender diverse people and to promote their human rights and well-being.

What does IPsyNet do?

Since its formation in 2005, IPsyNet has created a presence at international psychology conferences with programming and meetings, and has promoted policy at international science organizations. IPsyNet works to help member psychological organizations increase their capacities at home and in their regions to improve the human rights conditions for and the well-being of sexual orientation and gender diverse people. IPsyNet promotes advocacy and policy initiatives, education and training of care providers, improvements in therapeutic practices and community engagement initiatives.

Join IPsyNet

Membership is open to national, multinational and international psychology associations. Member organizations agree to support the mission of IPsyNet and appoint representatives to participate in IPsyNet projects and initiatives.

Member organization representatives help promote IPsyNet and its policy and programming goals, and participate in international conferences to the extent possible.
