Access to UCLA
The UCLA campus is open to the public and served by public bus lines, taxis and ride services. Bicycle racks are plentiful. Drivers can typically obtain a daily parking permit at staffed street kiosks. Pay-by-space parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. After-hours media contacts
The UCLA Media Relations phone number (310-825-2585) is answered 24 hours a day throughout the year. A media officer will return your call on breaking news. Assistance with routine requests is provided weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pacific time.

UCLA Athletics maintains a separate media relations staff and website.
Dining on campus
Public dining facilities are open across the campus. Media officers would be pleased to provide recommendations. The UCLA Faculty Center is a private membership club. Restaurants, hotels and other services are also available in Westwood Village, adjacent to the campus.

Media on campus
UCLA Newsroom is the official campus news website. UCLA Magazine is published quarterly in print and posted on the web. Professional schools and some departments produce their own publications and websites. The Daily Bruin is an independent, student-run newspaper.
News van parking areas
News vans covering stories at UCLA are required to park in designated areas. Stopping at red curbs is not allowed. Contact UCLA Media Relations for assistance.
Newsroom photographs and videos
Photos published in albums at UCLA Newsroom may be downloaded for news media use. Many of the images published in stories and news releases also may be downloaded by the news media. Inclusion of applicable credit is requested. Commercial use of any UCLA-owned photos requires permission.
Official name
UCLA is a proper reference for all uses. Periods between letters are not part of the UCLA identity and their use is discouraged. The campus may also be accurately called University of California, Los Angeles.
