Welcome to the United Nations
The general debate was held in person during the ministerial days of the HLPF and the high-level segment of ECOSOC from 17 to 20 July 2023. It focused on the theme “Building momentum towards the 2023 SDG Summit: Transformation for accelerating implementation of the SDGs”. It allowed Ministers and high-level representatives of participating States, as well as IGOs, UN system, and major groups and other stakeholders to exchange experiences, lessons learned, policy guidance, transformative actions and initiatives for the SDG Summit.
