Robberg nature Reserve - South Africa. When all the tourists are gone for today, you will have a relaxing time at Robberg Nature Reserve. There is only one hut for staying overnight for 8 people.
If you zoom in all the way to the horizon, you can find Annisquam Light, which has been the center of many of my other photos. Here it is from a great distance.
Greetings from the German North Sea Island Sylt. Not exactly your typical postcard photograph, I know. But there are too many of those here on FlickR already.
The weather here is fine for photographers, albeit not so much for anybody else. Taken with an iPhone 6+, processed in Lightroom Mobile.
Cannon Beach is a small coastal city in northwest Oregon. It’s known for its long, sandy shore. Standing tall in the ocean, Haystack Rock is a seasonal haven for tufted puffins. On a headland to the north, trails in Ecola State Park offer sweeping views of the ocean, coves and a lighthouse.
It was looking to be a good sunset so I headed to the coast to see what I could get. Such beautiful beaches up here on both sides of the river!
Xigia beach is unique in Zakynthos. The waters here contain a large proportion of sulphur, hence a distinctive aroma. The sulphur comes from neighbouring caves and has healing properties making it an ideal choice for those suffering from pains in the legs and arthritis. It also helps to treat cellulite! It's fun watching all these so-called influencers who take pictures but hardly enter the cold water.
Xigia Beach is einzigartig auf Zakynthos. Das Wasser enthält viel Schwefel, was zu einem besonderen Duft führt. Der Schwefel stammt aus umliegenden Höhlen und hat heilende Eigenschaften für die, die an Arthritis und Problemen mit den Beinen leiden. Außerdem ist das Wasser gut gegen Zellulitis. Es ist sehr amüsant, all die Influencer zu beobachten, die Fotos machen, aber das kalte Wasser kaum betreten.

Getting there was part of the adventure, just south of Big Sur Station on Highway 1 there is unsigned Sycamore Canyon Road which winds its way down to the shore. The two-mile long road is twisty and narrow, so RV’s and trailers are not allowed. The road is narrow and bumpy, not easy driving in the dark early morning. Very slow driving following google map. Arriving at the empty parking lot with no car, no people… head lights on, walked down to the beach.
One rock has a rock arch in it known as the Keyhole Arch, the large rock that is a staple of Pfeiffer State Beach. This amazing natural arch allows waves, and even the last rays of daylight, to pass through it. I could not find the hole at the beginning, it was too dark, I found later… took couple of photos while listening the waves hitting the rocks, when the early morning light shining on the rocks.
