Colours

Using text on background colours like this is generally not a good idea from an accessibility point of view. In this case, I don't think it looks good even without considering readability. JPD (talk) 11:04, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It is surely better for readability than having (ALP) or (LIB) after every single name? I agree that it doesn't look fabulous but I certainly think it looks better than having abbreviations after every name. Frickeg 00:29, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Colours might be less intrusive than abbreviations in one sense, but they can reduce the reader's ability to make out the text in the first place. What about something like the format in {{Constituencies in London}}? JPD (talk) 12:42, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
