Format

[edit]

Not sure I like the format change to "Points per game (Rookie)" and "Rebounds per game (Rookie)" since parentheses are commonly used in wikipedia for disambiguation. Here, the parentheses are used to isolate a separate link. Thoughts? — Myasuda (talk) 20:38, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Add articles to navbox?

[edit]

I guess I can understand why 50-40-90 club should not go in the Misc. section, but why is there not List of National Basketball Association head coaches with 400 games coached, List of NBA championship head coaches, List of NBA players with most championships in the navbox? - BeFriendlyGoodSir (talk) 02:48, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The 400 game coaches list is not a list of leaders per se; it's presented as a group alphabetically. Also see Talk:List of National Basketball Association head coaches with 400 games coached § Inclusion criteria; I always thought its inclusion criteria was weird. The championship ones maybe just got overlooked, as its not a game stat. —Bagumba (talk) 06:28, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Agree that 400 games coached is oddly specific rules, which will lead to an oversized table. It currently includes 107 coaches in the table. Whereas only 50 players are shown on List of National Basketball Association career games played leaders. The coaches article should be capped at 100 or less coaches based on number of games coached or won. And it should be ordered from highest to lowest. Should be renamed List of National Basketball Association career games head coached leaders? I will write on its talk page soon. - BeFriendlyGoodSir (talk) 07:20, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
