Title

re: the request to rename this template as "Template:Libertarian socialism", a few questions first:

  1. Wasn't Template:Libertarian socialism just moved to Template:Libertarian socialism sidebar on August 19th? Have all of the transclusions been updated so that changing the redirect target wouldn't make a mess?
  2. For what it's worth, it's not uncommon to leave "navbox" in the template's title (just how you added "sidebar" to the other one). See this search for example.
  3. How is this template distinguished from Template:Anarchism? This template's contents feel even more tenuously connected than those in the Anarchism navbox.

Not necessarily opposed, but wanted some info first. czar 00:58, 22 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  1. All transclusions of {{Libertarian socialism sidebar}} updated (see pages that link to "Template:Libertarian socialism sidebar", pages that link to "Template:Libertarian socialism").
  2. The navbox templates I came across don't have "navbox" in their names (e.g. {{Anarchism}}, {{Green politics}}, {{Socialism}}, {{Communism}}, {{Economics}}, {{Macroeconomics}}).
  3. The concept of libertarian socialism is broader than the concept of anarchism, therefore both templates have a right to exist.

Removal of custom colors

[edit]

I've removed the use of custom colors from this template, as I have also done with the navboxes for other ideologies such as Nazism, Neo-Nazism, Anarchism, Liberalism, Communism, Green politics, and Libertarianism, because they are purely decorative and serve no encyclopedic purpose. -- The Anome (talk) 10:58, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
