"Rents on the upscale Bloor Street West between Yonge Street and Avenue Road have doubled in the last 4 years, ranking as the 22nd most expensive retail location in the world in 2006, up two spots from 2005. Nationally, Vancouver's upscale Robson Street tied with Bloor Street West as the most expensive street in Canada, with an annual average rental price of $208 per square foot. Only four years ago, rents on Bloor Street were almost half that price at $110 per square foot. "

This is an excerpt from the article I had o remove, because it lacked a verifiable source. It included a link to the Toronto Star, butthe link was inactive, and no date/article was providedTallrichard2 13:20, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Editing

[edit]

This article is a mess. It really needs some editing and cleaning up... I've done some around the 'Transition into high-end shopping district' section, (which I think needs to be retitled), but there's still a lot more. Help please! LOctopus 02:19, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
