Working on this draft and ultimate goal

[edit]

I'm planning to get this draft figured out soon since it was recently deleted for going stale. With that said, I still agree with the thought at Talk:Team Thor, that we get this series article to a place that this is the only article on the matter, and redirect Team Thor and Team Thor: Part 2 and Team Daryl to this article. Thoughts on this as well as any interest in helping finish up the draft? @Adamstom.97, TriiipleThreat, Facu-el Millo, Trailblazer101, and *Treker:. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 03:04, 22 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm all for it as I feel individual articles for these shorts wouldn't suffice given they haven't been as independently notable from one another like most of the One-Shots were, and think any information about them can easily be compiled here instead. Trailblazer101 (talk) 03:14, 22 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. This would ultimately be moved to Team Thor then, right? El Millo (talk) 03:44, 22 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
No, it would stay as "Team Thor (film series)" because we would be covering all three. Look at it like the Marvel One-Shots article. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 15:05, 22 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Wouldn't that be unnecessary disambiguation? There would be no other article named Team Thor, and no other place any reader would want to arrived at but there. El Millo (talk) 16:04, 22 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think so, because "Team Thor" would in theory redirect to "Team Thor (film series)#Team Thor (2016)". I would suspect a reader searching for "Team Thor" could either expect to find an article about that first film, or the series as a whole. My thinking could be wrong, but I thought it was correct. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 16:50, 22 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I think I've got this to a point that it can be moved. All reception that I could find has been added. I attempted writing plot summaries for part 2 and Team Darryl, and I definitely think Team Darryl need some help to reduce and c/e it. If anyone else wants to give it a look over/pass soon, that'd be great. Otherwise, in a few days I'll move this to the mainspace and redirect the two existing articles into this new one. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 16:39, 23 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I've only had a quick skim through but it is looking good to me so far. - adamstom97 (talk) 07:17, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Should "Darryl survived the Snap" be included?

[edit]

Should the "Darryl survived the Snap" video be included? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9p5nsBY9rY

Was not aware of this. It isn't "officially" a short in the series, but I will add the info in the development section. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 15:37, 25 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Should the film series be italicized?

[edit]

I've been questioning this since I created the article. When referring to "Team Thor" the series of three films, should it be Team Thor or simply Team Thor? MOS:SERIESTITLE is making me question it a bit if it should not be italicized. That would also help alleviate confusion when talking about the first film and the trilogy. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 00:05, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The film series is called Team Thor based on its first short film, which is Team Thor. This would qualify as The name of an individual work within the series name, equivalent to the example the MoS gives of the Star Wars franchise, named for the Star Wars film. So italics is the way to go. El Millo (talk) 00:13, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Team Thor digital only

[edit]

My edit of making the original Team Thor short listed as a ‘digital-only’ release keeps being reverted, despite the fact that I have provided evidence that it is not included on the physical release of Captain America: Civil War. I also own a copy of Civil War and can personally confirm that it is NOT included on the physical release. Duffman1132 (talk) 21:19, 28 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You need to provide a reliable source supporting your claims and have yet to do so. The sources currently in article say otherwise regarding this. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 22:31, 28 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I would say at this point you need to prove a positive instead of requiring the rest of us to prove a negative. The two citations - one was forward looking before the disk was released, the other says nothing on the matter at all. Pecosdave (talk) 14:00, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I went through the entire BluRay disk the weekend. I bought the 3D edition when it came out. It most certainly is not on the disk, I went through ever video track. I did confirm that I had it as a bonus feature when I went to Movies Anywhere, but it was not on the disk itself. Pecosdave (talk) 15:55, 24 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
