Article on Jennifer Crewe?

[edit]

I believe that Jennifer Crewe is a noteworthy person to have an article by herself. Katerine Hayles, (in Postprint: Books and Becoming Computational, Columbia University Press, New York, in the Wellek Library Lectures ISBN9780231198240) notes that Jennifer Crewe is the first woman to serve as director of an Ivy League University Press. Her career includes her MFA at Columbia University (and being an editor while getting her degree and after getting her degree). She worked at Scribners and then returned to Columbia Universiyt Press as an acquisitions editor, where she worked for nearly 30 years. — Preceding unsigned comment added by LoveElectronicLiterature (talkcontribs) 18:10, 4 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Changed back to "...based in New York City". The Press's main administrative and editorial offices are in Manhattan (near Lincoln Center). The Press warehouse and "back office" operations (including customer service and accounting) as well as a small number of editorial staff, are in Irvington, New York.
