Padma Lakshmi, 53, confidently shows off her incredible figure as she models magenta lingerie for sexy Bare Necessities collaboration

Padma Lakshmi exuded confidence as she flaunted her toned figure in colorful lingerie in new Instagram photos shared over the weekend on Saturday.

The TV personality, 53 — who recently expressed that 'women's bodies change' while promoting her collaboration with Bare Necessities — could be seen standing next to a large window as natural sunlight streamed inside.

She showed off her incredible physique in a $68 plunging magenta bra with a lace back, as well as matching $20 lace bottoms.

The Top Chef star additionally layered the eye-catching look with a $138 Medallion kimono that was comprised of colorful patterned details on the material.

Her dark locks were parted in the middle and effortlessly flowed down past her shoulders in light waves.

The media personality — who currently boasts 1.6 million followers on Instagram — gently pushed aside ornate curtains as she looked out at the view.

In a second photo, the beauty could be seen lounging on a comfortable chair as she sweetly held up her adorable pup in the air.

Lakshmi penned in the caption, 'Too cozy to soak in the golden hour light anywhere else! Have you received your @barenecessities yet? Show me if you have!'

The Padma x Bare Necessities line officially dropped late last month on May 30, and not only includes lingerie pieces, but also loungewear and swimsuits just in time for the summer season.

Earlier this month, the author wowed in a pink bra and matching underwear as she struck a variety of poses to model.

She opened up to DailyMail.com about the collection with Bare Necessities, and stated, 'I know that women's bodies change and have different needs.'

'I hope this collection makes you not only look good but feel good. I hope that my selection is versatile and makes women feel not only like they have something pretty and special on, but that it's functional,' she said.

Padma — who went from a 34C bra size to a 36DD — also explained that she 'always wanted to do a lingerie line.'

She further explained, 'I hope that everybody enjoys the lingerie, but I designed it for women who might be a little more well-endowed.'

'As I have aged, I've found that my breasts have gotten bigger, and if you have a bigger bust, often you don't get enough coverage.'

She also admitted that going up in a bra size was something that she 'wasn't prepared for.'

'So, I wanted something that would look pretty, but give the support that a woman with a larger bust needs, without looking matronly,' she said. 'We also have things like a beautiful bikini that look great on women with smaller busts.'

Lakshmi continued, 'As I've aged, I've needed more support; my breasts have gotten bigger, and my hips have gotten curvier.

'And I prize comfort more than I used to. When I was young, I didn't mind wearing uncomfortable things to look good, but now I'm not willing to do that as easily.'

The star later added that 'lingerie can be a mood-lifter,' while expressing, 'Even if you're in jeans and a T-shirt, it can make you feel dressed up on the inside.'

In regard to one of her favorite items in the collection, she revealed that it is the 'zip-up rash guard with the mesh panels.'

'When you're going to the beach, you have to put on sunblock, but it's such a pain, especially if you're a mom or you have a lot to do. This bathing suit is one-piece, with long sleeves for more coverage,' she said.

'It's a very utilitarian suit that also looks sporty, sexy and chic in a Bond Girl way, but without being too revealing. If you wanted to be more modest, it would be a good thing to wear,' she added.

Late last month in May, she told Us Weekly that she has entered her 'sexual peak' at the age of 53.

'Look, I'm at my sexual peak. Let's just say what it is. I am. And I feel great about that. I don't care what anybody thinks,' she said.

'I don't care what my mother thinks, unless she's very supportive,' Padma said, and admitted that in the past, she had 'really lived in fear.'

'I come from a very conservative South Indian family. I was terrified that my grandfather was going to see those Helmut Newton pictures,' she explained. 'But I am free of all that. I just didn't meet their expectations at all.'

At her current age of 53 and weighing 35 pounds more than she did in her early 20s, the model revealed that she now feels 'so much sexier.'

'I love it. I wouldn’t go back to that body. I love saying I'm 53... and people are like, "Oh, you don't look like you're 53." And I'm like, "No. This is also what 53 looks like."'

Earlier last week, while at LAX, Padma revealed to TMZ that she doesn't want her daughter, Krishna, 14, to follow in her modeling footsteps.

'As a model, no, hell no. She doesn't need the money, first of all. I would like her to do something that engages her intellect and her creativity and talent,' the star said. 'Not that there's not creativity in modeling.'

'But, it's not a good life for a young woman and I don't think she needs that. I needed the money. I paid off my college loans that way. But she has way more resources than I had when I was growing up.'
