About The Role

As a Product Owner for our Data Management Software, you will be responsible for gathering and prioritising product requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a high-quality software solution. Along with the product management, you will play a critical role in defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Dynamics 365 F&O and data management concepts along with the ability to translate customer needs into actionable development plans.

Key Responsibilities

Product Vision and Strategy:

Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for the Data Management Software, along with the product manager.

Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to drive innovation.

Requirements Gathering And Prioritisation

Work closely with stakeholders, customers, and internal teams to gather and prioritise product requirements, decomposing complex feature sets into a set of priority stories.

Breaking down epics and user stories into a product backlog

Create and maintain a well-defined product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Collaborate with development, test, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Provide clear and concise requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to the development team.

Keeping customers and stakeholders informed of the status of the product.

Release Planning And Roadmap

Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business priorities and customer needs, along with the product manager.

Coordinate with the release manager and development team to plan and execute timely software releases.

Market And Competitive Analysis

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.

Use insights to refine product strategy and positioning.

Risk Management

Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with the product development process.

Proactively address issues to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

Demos And Sales

Working with internal teams and product management on the development of product positioning, demo design, training courses, sales collateral etc.

Participating in product demos to potential customers. Understanding their requirements and propose solutions using the product features.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Business, etc.).

Strong understanding of data management concepts and technologies.

Experience with Dynamics 365 F&O

Excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills, written and verbal.

Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
