The Health Business Analyst ensures that business requirements are translated into technical, functional requirements and implemented successfully into the Health Systems environment.

The Health Business Analyst will be responsible for the end-to-end technology process from analysis to the implementation, maintenance of all strategic and various operational technology solutions. They will ensure that business requirements are translated into technical, functional requirements and implemented successfully into the Health Systems environment. The greatest component will be the mobile application. The analyst will be responsible for the testing of the CRM system and mobile application from designing test cases to actual testing.

  • Business requirement documentation
  • Mobile apps maintenance as well as any other enhancements on the CRM system (MIP)
  • Functional requirements documentation
  • Project management of technical delivery cycle
  • Testing tasks in test environment
  • Documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Implementation of controls and governance
  • Analysis of business data and proactively identifying system improvements and efficiencies
  • Automate and simplify processes
  • Coaching and mentorship of junior team members
  • Stakeholder management – Business, external business partners, Technology team
  • Improve and drive cross-functional team collaboration through accurate and focused forms of communication
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile application development trends and technologies.

, Qualifications

  • PERSON DETAILS: WORK EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED – Essential Experience

  • 1-3 year experience working in Medical Aid/ Medical Insurance Industry (3-5 year experience in total)
  • Experience of system/business analysts and mobile apps
  • Systems experience on Medical Aid/ Insurance Administration system ideally MIP
  • Excellent excel and SQL skills (preferred, but not a requirement)
  • Project management experience – exposure to project management methodologies
  • Previous experience working on enterprise-level mobile applications

EDUCATION: QUALIFICATIONS: ACCREDITATIONS WITH PROFESSIONAL BODY

REQUIRED

  • Diploma in IT or Business or solid experience in the systems environment 1-3 years
