Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting:
Develop and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings and support decision-making processes.
Data Modelling:
Design and build data models to facilitate data analysis and reporting.
Data Quality Assurance:
Optimize data performance, data accuracy, completeness, and consistency, through data validation, cleansing and quality assurance processes.
Business Insights:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, provide data-driven insights, and support strategic initiatives.
Conduct thorough and rigorous agent/trader analysis based on historic data and current market trends and assist management to formulate growth strategies based on statistical data.
Take full charge of the division’s analytical reporting function and manage all deployed business intelligence models.
Build team and people capabilities through:
Providing real-time, ongoing coaching and feedback to team members throughout the year
On-time completion of performance management activities including regular 1:1s and Bi-annual performance reviews through GPS.
Supporting employee development including facilitation of career development conversations and crafting development plans for current and future needs
Taking action to hire and retain high-performers and address poor performance.
Proactively manage change initiatives within the team including sufficient planning/ preparation and communication to minimise disruption and support employee adoption.
Role modelling the behaviour's that support and drive the Flash culture and values.
Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Relevant tertiary qualification e.g. Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis on statistics, mathematics or computer science.
Strong knowledge of relevant software development skills through project-based experience.
Experience in SQL
Experience in developing and deploying Power BI models.
7+ Years’ experience in a data intensive environment.
Commercialize data sets relevant to business strategy.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Data Analysis Tools:
Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
Statistical Analysis:
Strong statistical skills and knowledge of statistical techniques, regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling. Collect, clean, and analyse large data sets to extract actionable insights and identify trends or patterns.
Data Visualization:
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI to create compelling visualizations and reports and monitor data pipelines
