    Business Development Manager Cape Town Our SaaS Event technology client is looking for a Business Development Manager for a Hybrid role with 3 years plus sales experience from the event, hospitality, travel or SaaS / technology industry. You will be generating leads and sales within the Event Industry environment by selling a Saas Technology software. You will negotiate and close deals to reach targets. Upsell products and grow business brand. Salary and benefits (it’s a hybrid position) Offices based in Cape Town CBD Min Requirements Matric Sales & Marketing Diploma a bonus but not a must 3 years experience from years plus sales experience from the event, hospitality, travel or SaaS / technology industry Sales or account management experience at a SaaS technology company / or events, functions, travel, or hospitality backround. Ability to generate and close deals Own Car and Drivers Great Communication skills Hungry for sales and commission Ideally worked with CRM’s before like Hubspot/ Sales Force Job Responsibilities SaaS Sales experience required. Ideally, someone who has demonstrated history of meeting KPI’s and exceeding sales targets. Meet up with people in the events industry and sell the platform for ticketing and events management. Lead sourcing and qualification across different verticals and event types. Client account administration, pitch preparation and demos. Attending client meetings with members of the Partnerships team. Negotiating commercial terms with customers. Ability to close deals. Generate sustainable revenue. Play a key role in the running and development of our student brand ambassador network, in conjunction with our wider marketing team. Visiting brand ambassadors at their respective universities and meeting clients they have introduced. Assisting with access controls at events that require this. You will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining long-term key customers. You will need to build strong relationships with strategic customers. Must have at least 5 years’ experience as a technical buyer. Must come from a FMCG Food manufacturing or Engineering background.
