⛈️ The DA-led City of Cape Town’s Human Settlements Directorate has issued over 6,500 flood relief kits, facilitated relocations, and delivered milling material to soak up water for residents in informal settlements across the metro. The level of assistance required has been unprecedented, but our Human Settlements, Disaster Risk Management, Basic Service, and Safety and Security teams have been out in full force to support Cape Town’s residents, especially the most vulnerable.
