Love the True Crime Section. Its big and needs some categories
So, I was scrolling down the true crime section and it’s very long. Perhaps if you could put the in sections of foreign where they occurred in a foreign country crimes the US with a serial killer section and a robbery and domestic and mysterious. Use some way to look at them in some kind of “interest” order. There is so much crime that an organization method would make the section better.

Provide unbiased news coverage - pretty simple
How can this be improved or dealt with? Simply provide unbiased news. We are in dangerous times now where the bias displayed through, supposed news outlets, is glaringly, obviously biased which feeds the intolerance from different points of view. To have an article with the title - "Mike Pence Says Stripping Women of Rights More Important Than Midterm Gains" is disgusting! Add more content from conservative and non-partisan news sites. Your news sources skew decidedly left.
For example, you feature news from HuffPost and NBC which are left wing news organization. For balance, you should consider adding right wing news sources, like Daily Wire, Epoch Times, or the New York Post. For non-partisan sites consider The Free Press and The Wall Street Journal.

Better news coverage
This really isn't an idea. I have My Yahoo as my homepage by default because I can't find a better service that displays information as well as you. My concern is the information you display. I get that you are ultra liberal, but you are taking it to extremes. The side bar titled News For You isn't. Do not Keep up articles where “commenting has ended.”
If “commenting has been ended” on an article, there is no reason for the article to remain up, or, most egregiously, reposted with the current date. I was preparing to comment on an article with the dateline of today (1/1/24), when I saw that commenting had somehow already ended. Looking at the comments, they were from 3 weeks prior. How does commenting end 3 weeks before an article is posted? If an article is worth reposting, the public has the right to determine if it is still worth commenting on. I have four Yahoo accounts and everyone asks me to verify the account.
I DID ALL OF THEM last week and the week before and the week before and checked the stay verified box. This is getting beyond anything of a joke now and needs to sorted out.

So something I've noticed in categories with the new app is there is a tab for World which I'm assuming would be world news but there isn't a tab for US news. Some stories that I see for the tab For You, you're not exactly seeing a whole lot of news for US news & stories. Maybe we'll see that in future updates but doesn't a lot of sense on why that tab isn't an option. Thanks for listening to my concerns.....

Falsification of global climate change.
You know that global climate change can be falsified, correct? Maybe do a story on that fact. Why would a political organization like the UN/IPCC have any credibility in the realm of scientific processes? They are not a scientific institution.
