  1. It's too easy to take people for granted. We get caught up in the everyday struggles of this thing called life a.k.a. the rat race. So much so that we forget to be mindful, loving and appreciative towards those people that fill our hearts with joy.

I saw this post on IG and think its AMAZING!

Before you go to sleep tonight, mention someone here. Write them a letter, a sentence. Leave a sentiment. Reassure your love, your friendship, your commitment. Or just say hello to an old friend. Send that energy into the universe. Use this space to let someone know that you appreciate them. Use it to be honest with them. Use it right now and be the reason someone smiles.

"Without gratitude, life can be lonely, depressing and impoverished," said Emmons. "Gratitude enriches human life. It elevates, energizes, inspires and transforms. People are moved, opened and humbled through expressions of gratitude."

Since we can't tag on YT... yet.
Perhaps you can leave a compliment on that person's profile so that they can come back to this thread and read it. That of course is if they have a Yelp account. Otherwise, nvm!

  2. I've been lucky to meet great men and women thru Yelp. I am glad that this platform exists and allows us all to come together.

I appreciate those that I haven't even met yet. You know who you are! You always put a smile on my face. Thank you.

If you think about it, every single person in the US is either an immigrant themself, or the descendant of immigrants. Even the native indigenous peoples' ancestors moved here from elsewhere. All the world's species must migrate at some point, in order to survive.

    • 456 friends
    • 287 reviews

You use the word "survive." This is exactly what we are trying to accomplish with laws and regulations. Its not our fault that other countries failed. But yet America has to pick the bill up first others each and every time. We will not "Survive" in the direction way we are going. Hope everyone has a back up plan.

  6. ^^ That's why I found it peculiar, Jill, how so many Americans are ok with enjoying all the privileges when they and their families were first welcomed to the US, but are not ok when other people are trying to do the same thing.

It's ok if you migrate, but it's not ok if other people do it. Go figure.

This is a country that has forgotten its history.

    • 456 friends
    • 287 reviews

This country is not what it was in the 1800's. When America was young and needed citizens. Remember that 40 acres and a mule promise? Now we are over populated and soon will be fighting for land and resources.

Now, if you want to come to the country, by all means do it the way my grandfather and the countless others did...LEGALLY!!!

Why do people have issues with entering a country the right way? Oh yes I remember now, CNN.

    • 92 friends
    • 141 reviews

^if only everyone had the same opportunity to enter the country legally. But if you have to decide between dying and trying to go somewhere better to survive you'd do the same exact thing. But let's not forget that the GOP is very Christian and holier than the rest. But let's control a woman's body because we are control freaks. And let immigrants who are living human beings die because they're not like us. So much effing BS!

    • 456 friends
    • 287 reviews

^Ive been to many of the countries where these immigrants claim to be coming from. And many decent people make a great living with some hard work. But since we give everyone everything then guess who's coming with hands out saying, give me give me, give me.

Now if wanted to make room in my prisons and state hospitals in central and south American countries, what would be the best method to send them up north and become someone else's problem?

@Gigi, you need to find out if the heat ruined any of them. Heat can change chemicals in ways you might not be aware of, which might be toxic to you. I suggest you call the product companies to explain what happened and ask if the products should be replaced, due to the heat exposure. If they need replacing, file a claim with FedEx for reimbursement AND to have delivery drivers better trained. Hopefully, you have the name of the delivery driver (or an employee #).

@Jill, your failure to see the truth is also perplexing.
And here is prime example #792:

It was not even 5 years ago Republicans have been addressing concerns about Biden's mental capacity. And today even you democraps are finally noticing what was stated back then.

No who is the blind party here?

Are you suggesting I need an antidepressant Rx? LMAO!
Btw, masculine men don't trigger me, just idiot men who think waaaaaay to much of themselves, such as yourself.

Where do you get your news from?  Obviously The National Enquirer and other grocery store tabloids. Which explains so much.

You probably don't think climate change is real, or that DTJ doesn't know anything about The Heritage Foundation and how many people who work/ed there worked for him too.

Btw, masculine men don't trigger me, just idiot men who think waaaaaay too much of themselves, and know so little about so many things, such as yourself, Humpty Dumpty Trump, Greg Abbott, Ted Cruz, Ron DeSantis, Marco Rubio, Rick Scott, the list goes on, and on, and on. They all claim to be "Good Christians", but don't know diddly-squat as to what the Bible really says. They keep rewriting everything to justify their seriously wrapped views. What a bunch of Bozos you all are.
