Gambino is back with an album and I'm back with a review
I was just enjoying my Friday night pizza and looked up and there it was- a picture of the legend himself. I knew I was at the right place and I knew I had to write a review
Food:
Vodka pizza 5/5: it's like penne ala vodka but in a square pizza form it's absolutely incredible
Ambiance:
Only negative is it's standing room only and the line could get a little long depending if it was a weekend with people finishing their festivitiesHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I think the only point to come here is the pepperoni square, as it's the most unique thing they have. If you don't want a thick greasy square with a heap of oily pepperoni, I wouldn't bother. The margarita slice is pretty good too, and hard to find elsewhere at the same cheese and sauce quality, but not quite as special.
For the pepperoni square, the crust is delicious (as most forms of oily bread are), and the charred crispy pepperoni are super flavorful. The tomato sauce provides a sweet and tangy balance to all the grease.
I'd say 4 stars for the food due to the limited selection that's worth the hassle, and 4 stars for the experience. When entering, there are counters on both the left and right walls, ostensibly for standing and eating. An employee shooed me from eating at the left wall, saying that the space is for the line to order. I think he was a bit overzealous (maybe a newer employee) because I don't understand why the counter is there if that's the case--when I came here regularly years ago, people ate at the left counter all the time? There wasn't even a line when he told me to not to eat there.
The best experience here is to get a pepperoni square during a less busy hour and bring it back to your place to eat. If you live far away, don't expect to be able to comfortably eat here.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 15, 2024Updated review
The queue has significantly improved over the years. Even a long line moves quickly. They've got a system down and it seems to be working well!
The spicy spring pep square is still the way to go! I love too that they now have variations of it, like one with ricotta ::drool::
All day, every day, I would give 5 stars for that pepporoni square, but the other pies/slices that they have, just don't compare. Brought a friend here that doesn't eat pork, and their slices (cheese and veg) were really underwhelming. Perhaps an off day? Who knows.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Mar 8, 2020Previous reviewThe pizza is delicious. Best pep slice ever. I've been coming here for years.
The wait, however makes me not want to come. Over an hour to get two slices on a Sunday. There are way too many ticketing and queue systems for them not to have sorted this out or implemented an efficient process. Seriously. Please do better. Please. - Jul 12, 2024
unpopular opinion but i think their pizza is bland
the naughty came out fresh when u got it so it was piping hot which was nice
it came out p quickly and it's a small storefront so you should expect to just grab and go
the vodka slice was alittle dry imo but everybody goes for the spicy pepperoni slice anyways so just get thatHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Hi Esther,
We apologize our store didn't meet your expectations.
Please DM on Yelp so we can rectify any issues. - Jun 21, 2024
Came hyped. Left hyped!! I want another bite already.
Naughty (5/5) - sweet, savory, crispy. This might be a mix of the vodka and pepperoni, it's amazing.
Service was pretty fast for a Friday noon snack. It's a bit pricey for a small slice ~$8 so I'd love to try other recommendations, but I'm still happy I got to try it.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

I don't say this lightly: this was the best pizza I have ever had, the sheer look of it was enough to get you drooling, their spicy vodka pizza was to die for. The Sicilian style made every bite perfectly saucy. Their pepperoni pizza was a classic and delicious. Best pizza in nyc hands down.

The quintessential slice. The one where you can bring onto the street; the one where you can eat it unapologetically; and the one that goes best when eaten standing up
Always will be a fan

Came here on the recommendation of a friend, and it was so good I came back less than a week later. With the 'Naughty' pizza's pepperoni, hot honey, and perfect amount of cheese and vodka sauce, Prince Street Pizza EASILY makes my top three pizza joints in NYC. I love this place and will bring my friends here without hesitation to grab a slice!!
A couple of things to know before going: this is a cash-only restaurant, so come prepared! And there's only a couple of outside tables + a small starting bar against the wall, so you'll likely need to take it to go and find another place to eat.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

The pizza was very good, but eating it is a cluster-f*ck. So try and go there at whatever are "non-peak" hours.
It was a fairly warm day, Saturday at about 11am. SOOO crowded and too few places to sit or stand and eat your 'za. We hovered over a tine sidewalk table with only one chair for a good 10 mins for someone to leave. Then as soon as we sat down, another couple hovered over us waiting for our table. The tables on the sidewalk would be better as higher tables for more people to sand and share the space...
I got the slice with the vodka sauce and pepperoni. I rarely say this, but the pepperoni was of such good quality and so thickly cut - the slice cold use less of it on there. But hubby had a meat free slice, so he got all the fallen soldiers from my slice.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

Popular pizza joint near Soho!
It was my second time going and the naughty slice is def the way to go! Line moved quick and the pizza was delicious.
The shop is quite small but there are a few small table outside.
One thing to note is they don't reheat the pizza up so it's just lukewarm. This place would have been 5 stars for me if the pizza was reheated like at other pizza shops.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information
