Luxury Dentistry NYC

Today was my first visit here and i think i found my new dentist for yearly cleaning, this dentist is out of network for my insurance plan so i cant come to him for fillings or anything but i have out of network benefits for cleaning and i don't think i am going any where else. The office is clean and the receptionist is friendly, you fill out all the forms via a tablet so yay to modern tech. My hygenist was amazing! She was so gentle and friendly, turned on the massage chair for me, (YES YOU READ RIGHT, MASSAGE CHAIR AT A DENTIST OFFICE!) there is also a tv in the room so you can sit back and relax while they do their thing. My hygenist also offered me chapstick which was very thoughtful of her because i have super chapped lips and was very thorough with my cleaning. I am usually terrified of getting xray scans at a dentist because its always so uncomfortable where the slide they put in your mouth is wayyy too big and cuts into your mouth... guess what, it was painless here the slides they use are smaller than any other dentist i've been to! After the cleaning Dr. Davidowitz came in and examined my xray scans and performed a thorough examination he even checked my gums, my tongue and my jaw alignment? (i feel a click in my jaw ever since i had my wisdom teeths removed by another dentist) I must have been living under a rock all this time because in my 29 years no other dentist has ever been this thorough... he explained to me in depth about invisalign and the services they offered because i mentioned i had a protrusion that bothered me a bit. Not sure if they still offer the free starbucks giftcard for yelp since i showed it to the receptionist and haven't gotten an email yet, but its okay i am just so happy i found a new dentist close to work. The only thing i am sad about is that forgot to ask was what the price of invisalign was.

Dr. Davidowitz followed up with me after my original review and was generous enough to let me come back to his office to finish my Invisalign treatment from 3 years ago! I was glad to see the same familiar faces still working in his office from all those years ago, and they took excellent care of me. It was cool to see how much the technology has advanced since I was last in the office. My treatment was much shorter with less discomfort using the new aligners.

I finally finished my Invisalign treatment last month and I've been so happy with the changes! Huge thanks to Dr. Davidowitz and his team for reaching back out to me!

Friendly & professional service from everyone on staff. I come here for my yearly cleaning, whitening & Invisalign treatments. And they always give me a toothbrush, toothpaste & dental floss for the road!

So happy my search for a good dentist is over..Dr Steven is the best dentist I've had in the 20 yrs I've lived in NYC!

I've been coming to Luxury Dentistry for almost two years now and I will NEVER go anywhere else. From my cleanings to fillings, Dr. Davidowitz and his team always make me feel comfortable and demonstrate the amount of pride they have in their work. This is the first time I've been able to have full trust with the work being done. If you want honest and detailed work this place is a must!!!

I'm currently finishing up my Invisalign treatment and could not be happier with the result. It has truly enhanced my smile and my confidence. For anyone considering Invisalign, I would strongly recommend Propel and Vpro5 to speed up the process. I'm almost done with my treatment and it's only been 6 months!!!

I have been going to Luxury Dentistry for years now, since 2013, and I've always had a great experience. I owe my now perfect smile to Dr. Davidowitz and his staff and the amazing care they've provided. Everyone is always friendly and I'm seen pretty quickly. Normally I'd give them 5 stars, but the following up with patients isn't the greatest, at least from my experience. There have been a few times when I'd be expecting a call back for something and never got it. I end up having to follow-up on things myself quite often. That isn't the worst thing, but worth mentioning.

Not to sound cheesy, but they put the Luxury in Luxury Dentistry. Clean and calm waiting room (with coffee, tea and always brand new magazines - good ones, not like, golf digest), easy bookings, awesome happy people working there (seriously, when do you ever go to the dentist and have everyone from the receptionist to the hygienist to the dentist be so cheery and sweet?!) and even complimentary paraffin wax treatments for your hands while you're waiting?! Oh and did I mention flat screen TVs in every room so you can watch TV while they clean your teeth?

Also, the dentists are amazing - I got Invisilign done here and had perfect teeth within a year.

There are not enough good things to say about this office and Dr. Davidowitz. From Yvette at the front desk to all of the technicians Luxury Dentistry has a warm friendly and professional atmosphere.

I received Invisalign treatment at this office for 8 months (which I've since completed) and had a wonderful experience and am very happy with my results. Prior to my treatment, I had considered Invisalign for many years but never felt comfortable until my consultation with Dr D.
He gave me a very honest assessment of what type of results I could expect and even explained that rotating my two front teeth could result in a minor space at the top (and showed me examples of what it could look like.) This is the type of open conversation every Dr. should have with their patients so they are armed with ALL the information going in.

In the end, my treatment was a total success with no surprises along the way. I had one minor issue where an attachment fell off but was able to get an appointment right away to get it put back on.

All in all - if you are considering Invisalign or just need a new Dentist. I highly recommend.

I had bonding work done by Dr. Davidowitz and I could not be happier with the results. Dr. D. is a perfectionist, which is certainly an important attribute for someone performing cosmetic dentistry! I would highly recommend Luxury Dentistry for all of your dental needs. Dr. D. is the best!

I have had terrible experiences at most dental practices I have been to but Dr. Davidowitz and his hygienist were the best I have ever had. The hygienist was incredibly gentle, even while doing a much needed deep cleaning. They were both incredibly patient and reassuring. Dr. Davidowtiz recommended me to an oral surgeon for wisdom teeth removal (s/o to Dr. Lustman!) who was just as great. I recommend Luxury Denistry to anyone who is afraid of going to the dentist! Lifesavers.

I had about 2 years of continuous dental work done with Luxury Dentistry, finishing up with an Invisalign treatment.

Please allow me to share my brief little story:

Before the Invisalign treatment, I had darker fillings from childhood replaced with white filling and had a root canal procedure done. Through all the calculations somehow one of the tooth fillings was not accounted for. This last filling needed to be done in order to complete the work prior to starting my Invisalign treatment. However, for whatever the reason, it wasn't accounted for in the package deal that I had made with Dr. D for all my dental work that we had agreed upon.

I was pretty bummed out as I had only budgeted so much for all my treatments and I really did not want to exceed that budget. I also knew that in Dr. D's heart, he believed that this was not his fault but he decided to side with me anyway and chalked it up as a misunderstanding and finished the work without charging me anything extra.

It's my belief that he could have made me feel guilty and uncomfortable to ensure that I understood the concession that he was making but in his typical relaxed demeanor he continued on as if everything was ok and it really put my mind at ease. It was at this point, that I knew I had a winner on my hands.

As if this was not enough, I had to make it harder on them by moving to Maryland in the middle of my treatment.

I was a perfectionist on my Invisalign results and Luxury Dentistry patiently worked through every quibble that I had with adjustments that I thought were in the best interest of my own teeth (who did I think I was, right?!). Dr. D calmly educated me along the way and made adjustments in my treatment whenever possible to appease his picky patient.

I continue to recommend luxury dentistry to all my New York City friends and that's not my typical referral behavior. I am always sensitive to give recommendations because I'm too nervous something will go wrong but I have no such fears in recommended Dr. D and Luxury Dentistry. If you are looking for a super, accommodating, and an extremely patient friendly environment, please look no further than Luxury Dentistry so that you'll have me to thank for all your wonderful experiences. :)

PS - I have never had issues with appointment scheduling. They were super accommodating. Simply put, they are wonderful people and they really care that you have a great experience.
