Grover Beach Sourdough

I have had the hardest time finding a good bagel in the 805. A lady that goes by CJ, said to try this place out.

I went in this morning looking for some baked goodies and i really had to leave a review about how freaking good everything is, I got a small cheddar sourdough loaf, which was a mistake, definitely always getting a large from now on. The brown butter cookies are knock your socks off good, some of the best cookies I've EVER had. To top things off the wonderful lady working gave me a free pretzel which I have yet to indulge in but I already know it's going to be great. Absolute 10/10 for this place and will be adding it to my weekly pick ups since I live so close :)

This place is legit. The aroma of baking bread grabbed my attention as we drove by. The selection of sourdough bread was a nice representation. So much good stuff. The also feature breads on weekly rotation.

The service at the counter was exceptionally friendly. I opted for a loaf of the rosemary sea salt. It was delicious. How I wish I lived closer.

They make enough for most days, however they do sell out of items daily. Get there early to give it a best chance.

They have much more than bread and it all looked so delicious. It's a quaint bakery that churns out lots of tasty treats.

Craving some sourdough bread I decided to visit Grover Beach sourdough co. I wasn't sure what I wanted... Anyhow I ended up with a mini loaf of Rosemary sea salt sourdough bread.
Immediately after getting into my car I ripped off a tiny chunk.
I was super impressed with the texture, flavor, and hint of Rosemary. I loved it!!
I also noticed they offered breakfast as well. Biscuits, eggs, pastries etc
I definitely want to come back and try other menu items.

Not a secret, but the hype is deserved! Continues to carry a great variety of delicious fresh baked goods. This morning, I picked up a loaf of delectable, crusty sourdough. Agree with others that the brown butter cookies are a must try if you love shortbread - decadent, crumbly and rich in texture, the perfect complement to a spot of tea or coffee.

I got there a little after 9:00 AM and they were already sold out of many things. The quality of the food is five star for bread and bagels, however, if you know you always run out why wouldn't you make more? Frustrating to wait in line an hour after they opened and find out they sold out of more things than they still have.

Arrived here sometime around noon. Everything I had initially intended to purchase was not available. It could have been an off day or the early birds walked away with the goods. Fortunately, I found alternatives! Copped their GB Style Cheesecake, Garlic Sour Dough Loaf, and Brown Butter Cookies. The Cheesecake alone is worth a return.

I appreciate the kind customer service. A small shop, but many goodies to enjoy. I'd return earlier in the day if I can help it.

Their bread is fabulous, highly recommend. Only challenge is getting there early enough while it's still available. Friendly service.

Wonderful bread and pizza. The bread is soft and flavorful. It's actually pretty addicting. The pizza was also loaded with flavor and very rich. Def worth giving a try!

This place just doesn't have "it" anymore. Bummer because it used to be amazing. Brioche French toast muffin-lacking flavor. Same w coffee cake muffin.
