How crowded is Disneyland on Easter weekend, since I was planning on going to ride on radiator springs racer and web slinger before, the park opens at 8am?
A:
It will be packed! However if you go at 8:00 am the lines should be short. I believe web slingers requires online reservation… more

DCA is right across from Disneyland.
To get into DCA, you will have to get screened, backpacks etc checked for any weapons/banned items etc. then go through the line to get check in.
We were here for the Pixar fest. It was pretty cool. We had tried several of their specialty food and drinks for the Pixar fest. DCA is hands down the best out of Disneyland for alcohol drinks and some of the drinks were strong and delicious!
The food here is just okay... overall I had fun, pretty themes.
Lots of food, drinks, souvenirs, Disney merchs and clothes for sale.
They do close earlier than Disneyland around 9/10pm, when they close I hop over to Disneyland or Downtown Disney to continue the fun.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Madonna M.MI, MI06026Jul 9, 2024Updated review24 check-ins
My most favorite park in California. If you can only do one, I would choose this one. The ambiance, food, service and rides are unbeatable.

Disney California adventure was super fun! Our group decided to take a break and grab a bite of food in the area where they sell the boudin and quesa Birria tacos. There was a gentleman by the name of Helmer who was cleaning tables and picking up trash. My nephew is on the spectrum and helmer interacted with him so well ! He let him ask all types of questions and I appreciated his thoughtfulness.
I hope Helmer gets recognized for going above and beyond . Thank you!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 17, 2024
When Disney California Adventure first opened in 2001, I initially wasn't the biggest fan of it. It was smaller and lacked the charm of the original Disneyland resort. This park was designed to represent all of the places that make the state of California what it is today. But after a few years of negative reviews and low attendance, they overhauled the park and started incorporating more rides and themed lands that are inspired mostly by Pixar and Marvel movies. I feel like when they opened Cars Land and started the park hopper system is when this place really took off and started to draw in bigger attendance numbers.
I think the food here at Disney California Adventure Park is a little better quality than Disneyland. They originally designed this park to have more things to and eat do for adults. San Fransokyo Square has a lot of good options that are inspired by Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco like bread bowls from Boudin Bakery and the Ghirardelli Soda Fountain. Wine Country Trattoria and Carthay Circle Restaurant are nice sit-down restaurants. Pym Test Kitchen, Cozy Cone Motel and Flo's V8 Café are my favorite places for quick eats.
When you first enter the park, you start off in Hollywood Land. There is a the Red Car Trolley that you can ride on and the Disney Monorail passes above you. Cars Land is my all-time favorite of all the themed lands. They did such a nice job of designing it. It really does make you feel like you are in Radiator Springs from the original Cars movie. I am a big national park junkie and love hanging out at Grizzly Peak. It is inspired by Yosemite and Redwood national parks. The Pixar Pier is a lot of fun and is really pretty at night when the lights are on and reflecting off the water. There are fun games to play on the boardwalk and lots of Pixar character sightings. Avengers Campus recently opened and replaced A Bug's Land. I actually was a big fan of A Bug's Land and was little bummed by that decision. But Marvel is a big thing at Disney and you knew someday they would create a new themed land just for them. I think they did a nice job of creating Avengers Campus, but it is not one of my favorites.
Incredicoaster is a steel launched roller coaster and is my favorite ride at Disney California Adventure. That ride is such a blast and never gets old. Radiator Springs Racers at Cars Land is my second favorite. I just hate that it always break down and has the longest line in the park. Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! (which used to be themed after the Twilight Zone TV show) is a fun one. Grizzly River Run is a good one to ride during the hot summers because you get wet on it. Sometimes I will ride the Pixar Pal-A-Round Swinging Ferris wheel. But I freak out a little when those things start swinging around.
Disney California Adventure Park has really grown on me over the years. Especially with the new additions. Disneyland will always be my favorite because it is the original and has all the classic characters and rides. But I love the new stuff too and they have done a nice job of renovating this park to include all of the new movies and characters. Check out the Food & Wine Festival during the springtime and sample all types of California inspired food and beverages.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Alfredo J.Bellflower, CA01Jun 29, 2024

Went with my girlfriend. Tourism has absolutely butchered Disney. It's a tourist trap with almost no redeeming qualities left. Food price gouged, lightning passes are a scam that basically aren't worth the price, parking is now 35$. Like literally every single thing was tailored to make a worse experience unless you throw bundles of money at them. Go to knotts berry farm or anything else this place sucks.

If you're young with no kids or old with no kids & like to eat or drink then this place is for you. Me & the family have gone a few times when we have 2 day passes but next time we just gonna use both days for Disneyland. The rides weren't as good or as many as Disneyland & the times we went a lot of the rides were broken down & that was frustrating. Is it fun, are some rides good when they are working, yes. But you really can't spend more than 6 hours here with kids because after 6 hours you pretty much did everything & you done. So to me it ain't worth the price, tickets here should be cheaper.
The food spots here are very good tho, so many to pick from & the alcohol here is really good too, good place to come eat, drink & have some fun on a date but as far as a whole family trip I say go to Disney instead unless you got extra money to spend & you want to do both parks back to back days. Which everyone should do that at least once. As for me I did that already so I'll do back to back days at Disney instead. But hey thanks for the good times we have spend here California Adventure:)Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Andrea P.Anaheim, CA01Apr 30, 2024
