Delicious food and friendly service.
Went in looking for something to munch on and found delicious sandwiches.
We had the Italian and omg the salami was to die for! Enough for two people.
I loved the presentation. I was too hungry to take pics! Sorry!
It came with a side, it was some kind of salad (orzo?). It was tasty too.
We also order a chocolate cannoli which it was ok. Not sure of it was supposed to be that hard?
The service was phenomenal! There was tall man who was SO friendly! He was writing on the chalkboard announcements and items to be featured.
We kept messing/joking with him and we just had a great time!
Definitely a cozy, clean and beautiful place to return to :0)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 17, 20242 check-ins
Sandwiches here are so great. Best in town. Fresh and high quality ingredients makes there sandwiches so tasty that we keep coming back for more. Italian sandwich is a must to try. Ham is awesome too, with thinly sliced ham with chunks of delicious French butter. Oh so good!
Many great cheese selections that you keep going back and get a little wedges. So stop here and try their delicious cheese and sandwiches!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jun 29, 20241 check-in
Small shop in downtown Paso Robles.
Pretty good selection of cheese and meats with decent pricing.
The lady who helped us was friendly and overall it seems like a good place to grab some cheese and meats for a picnic.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mar 17, 2024
Please note. I did not purchase anything from here and the people were nice. That said, we came here for a sandwich and cheese tray on our way from Santa Barbara to Sacramento.
They had 5 premade sandwiches in a display cooler.
All the nice equipment to make sandwiches, however apparently they are limited on bread and that leads to making sandwiches in advance. The square has at least 15 other places to get something to eat. Didn't imagine we would drop in for a premade sandwich.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - David H.Long Beach, CA4912328Mar 15, 2024
They have the most flavorful cheese. My go to specialty store for fine cheeses. Small shop but great customer service. Not sure about their hours though. We went when they were supposed to be open ( according to Yelp) but saw a closed sign.

Another Cheese shop in the same downtown area as Vivant Cheese shop. They also let you sample their cheeses so you can decide what to buy. They have name tag signs on each cheese so you know what they are. Seems like they have a smaller selection of cheese, but I'm not sure. Vivant seemed better at offering cheese samples and advices. They don't give you advice here. You just pick cheese you want to sample. They have wine accompaniements here too like dried fruits, crackers, pickled veggies/olives. I got their truffle salami $14 and they don't cut salami slices for you if you buy the prepackaged salami log. It was a b**** trying to find a knife during brunch time to cut it. It was a dull knife too. We saw that they cut the already opened salamis/meats for you. Vivant is nice to offer to slice the salamis for you. Outdoor seatings here. Not sure if they serve wine...
Garlic basil gouda - very good
Cranberry - sweet
Pesto Lavender gouda - unique
black lemon gouda - not sour , taste like lemon
Truffle salami - very fragrant , didn't taste truffleHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Riq H.Sacramento, CA133132167Jul 11, 2023
What a delightful culinary experience. This cozy little shop offers a wide array of delectable treats, making it a must-visit for any food lover. I started my meal with the jambon buerre, and it was fantastic. The savory ham and creamy butter on a freshly baked baguette was heavenly. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the bread was wonderfully crisp.
Next, I tried the Italian sandwich, and oh boy, it was a true masterpiece. Packed with layers of flavorful cold cuts, cheese, and a medley of fresh ingredients, this sandwich truly celebrated Italian flavors. It was so good that I couldn't resist getting a second one. Same for the jambon buerre. I did not even know what that was before visiting this shop!
The quality of the ingredients was evident, and the attention to detail in the sandwich preparation was impeccable, albeit pre-made.
Aside from the sandwiches, Di Raimondos also offers an impressive selection of jars of peppers and other unique items that are not commonly found elsewhere. Exploring their shelves and discovering these hidden culinary gems was a joy. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Di Raimondos Italian Market and Cheese Shop is a hidden gem in Paso Robles. Their sandwiches are outstanding, and I immersed myself in the flavors with each bite. The variety of cold cuts and the quality of their ingredients are top-notch, making it a haven for any cold-cut enthusiast.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sep 25, 2022
Finally made it to this wonderful little cheese shop in downtown Paso Robles with excellent cheesemongers. We brought a cheese board from home for our trip but decided to expand the selection. The lavender Gouda is goodness. Not a perfumed overpowering taste. Subtle lingering hint of lavender. The red dragon is a mustardy Gouda that has the right amount of snap. Last on the list was humbolt fog. A very creamy cheese with a strong finish.

Tip: sandwiches are made in morning and sell out quickly! Italian and jambon both delicious; wonderful crusty bread too...a new happy place!

Wonderful cheeses and lovely staff. We had a handcrafted Jambon Buerre sandwich that was so good, we went back again before leaving town!
