We were told this is a new restaurant that opened only a few weeks ago, and the food and service was amazing. Our waitress was Neisha and she recommended the fried chicken and ribs. Both were delicious. We also started with the pretzel fondue which was a great way to start the meal.

Highly recommend this restaurant and if you are lucky enough maybe you will get Neisha to service you.

I've read reviews prior to coming, so this has been on my list to try. Delicious choice!
I got the roast salmon & farro - salmon was melt-in-your-mouth tender, not overdone.
We shared crispy rice & tuna and Brussel sprouts w gochujang sauce - perfectly crispy & spicy. The sushi options & gochujang were unexpected menu items.
The wait staff was friendly; the place has a fun mid-day vibe, if I had the time, I would come back in the evening & check it out.

Went on a Saturday afternoon with a few friends. Cute location. Friendly service. Food took a while to come out but it was good when it finally did. No one had complaints. I'd go back to try a couple of other menu items.

      Great mocktail options.

Pros: plenty of TVs, lots of seating. Both indoor and outdoor areas. Food was decent.

Cons: limited menu upstairs. Runners kept getting food orders confused. Very loud. Live music is downstairs only and upstairs is a DJ.

Came to checkout this new spot on Saturday night. Of course we had to make a reservation for the upstairs patio as this looked like the place for views and atmosphere. Didn't realize it would be a DJ and limited food menu. Hard to hang out with speakers right over the table and have a conversation. As we were leaving checked out the live music in the bar area downstairs which was more of the vibe that I thought the rooftop patio would be. Little too noisy and active for a dinner. Will probably be a good spot for football in the fall, but I will hold off until then to venture back.

Welp, my fellow Texas locals...we finally got our wish...I believe everyone from the state of California has officially called Texas "home" **eye roll**.

I get this place is everywhere but I'm getting Cali vibes. Very cool, chill and laid back. Friendly, tanned, and beautiful people with eccentric choices in fashion. They're killing it!

The service was on point. We were informed that this location is one of the only restaurants with a rooftop but it was 103 that day...didn't feel like passing out from heat exhaustion.

I was looking forward to trying the pizza but they were out of dough so I opted for the duck and shrimp fried rice. Generous portion, great taste. Maybe a 7/10....there's was something sweet tasting...it was different.

This fried chicken was fried chicken but the star of the show was the popcorn shrimp! A hit! Lightly breaded, cooked perfectly. The sauce and the lemon accompaniment totally worked for this appetizer!

The drinks could've gone a little harder in the paint. They were just pretty. I've had much tastier for half the price, in my opinion.

This place is going to do well and be here for a while! Welcome to Dallas, Culinary Dropout!

Loved the wagyu pigs in a blanket and the chocolate dessert with the chocolate sauce was great--well balanced with a touch of espresso or coffee. I didn't love the pizza--it had no tomato sauce, but it did taste like good ciabatta with lovely toppings...just wanted something with a tomato sauce.

The service was outstanding! All the food that we ordered we're really delicious! I had the strawberry and spinach salad and I added salmon, it was cooked to perfection! We ordered the soft pretzels with cheese dip, the pretzel was soft and dense, really good with the cheese dip! If you go for your birthday, your dessert will be comp! I would definitely go back and tried other entrees!

I had the pleasure of being invited to the soft opening. I have been a fan of the brand for over a decade and was so happy they finally opened a location in my city. It is a fantastic addition to the Design District!

The location is big with lovely decor, a stage for live music, a rooftop bar with unbeatable views, and multiple party rooms to host events.

We requested a booth near the bar area. The booths were big and cozy. We loved the live music by Runaway Sky. It really added to the ambiance and enjoyment of our Sunday brunch.

I started with the Two to Mango cocktail, and since it wasn't a "cheat day" for my husband, he went with the Zero Proof Watermelon Spritz. Both were bright and refreshing!

For starters, we enjoyed the chef's selection of meats, cheeses, and snacks along with the rainbow roll sushi. The chef's board was a delicious assortment of tasty adventures, and the grilled bread and chutney topped it off. The sushi was good quality and a nice addition to their menu. We were informed that Dallas is the only location featuring sushi.

For entrees, I had the fried chicken and biscuits that were served with the most perfect sunny side up eggs and a spicy gravy. My husband had the chopped chicken salad, which he enjoyed. Again, it was not a cheat day for him. So, he was limited on what he could eat and drink.

I was encouraged to try the mud pie for dessert, and it did not disappoint! It was served with a luscious coffee infused chocolate sauce, and I paired it with an espresso martini, which just took the whole experience over the top!

The staff is wonderful. We enjoyed chatting with Shannon, and Brendan, one of the food runners, was very attentive to us!

We look forward to dining here again very soon (on a cheat day) and enjoying Sundays lounging at the rooftop bar!

This place is a dream. Such a nice addition to the area.

The service was friendly and attentive. Smiles right when we walked in all the way until we left.

We ordered the tuna crispy rice, which was very fresh. It wasn't too spicy, so I did want some Sriracha, but it was still very good even without it.

The chicken katsu sandwich was fresh and juicy. The slaw they placed on top was flavorful and a nice pairing with the fried chicken breast.

The duck fried rice was herbacious and well prepared. It wasn't too large of a portion either, so it's perfect for lunch.

What can I say about the fried chicken. I'm almost without words. It was so crisp but not burnt, which many places have issues with. The meat was rich and flavorful all the way to the bone. The biscuit and mashed potatoes are in a class of their own. So light and fluffy. I would love to see what brunch is like.

We will be back and recommend you visit as soon as possible before the rest of DFW figures it out.

Culinary Dropout did not disappoint.. The food and drink were delicious.. Co-workers and I decided to give it a try for lunch. The server was polite and recommended us a great selection of drinks . One of the best Margaritas I have tried in a while. The place is really nice and has a great atmosphere. I had the Duck and Shrimp fried rice and it was delicious. I will definitely go back to try the Brunch over the weekend. I'm glass we work a block away from the office. We were told the rooftop patio area opens up after 4pm. Over all great restaurants.
