Grapefruit Martini, Lemon Drop Martini, Spinach Artichoke Dip

This is a really cute hidden place. Dim lighting, comfy booths and little tables inside with bar seating as well. Decorations inside are cute. Very quiet for the most part. The drinks here are delicious and quite strong. We only tried the Spinach artichoke dip, which was just alright. Servers are super friendly and attentive.

You would never know this place was here without searching for somewhere off the beaten path. It's unassuming location in a condominium masks the true gem that is Bernie's.
We managed to grab the last open table and ordered a french 75, which honestly was not the greatest (also my glass was cracked a smidge). We asked the bartender to do something else when she said "Can I make you MY twist on a French 75?" Being adventurous, we said yes and honestly, thank god we did. It was one of the best drinks I had ever had. A slight hint of apricot complimented the gin and lemon nicely. (I wish I could remember the lady's name but she was just phenomenal and the reason we will be coming back!)

The ambiance was relaxed and dimmed enough to enjoy the night but still be able to converse and read the menu. Love this place.

Plus side: Staff is nice. Place is clean and quiet - ideal to have a conversation or ONE night cap. Pleasant decorum with relaxed lighting. However...

Clumsy and very expensive execution at a high price. Eg: $54 for 2x double gin/sodas because they charge you exactly twice for a double as a single - even though you aren't getting two drinks when you order a double - just an extra shot, which is already steep at $13.50 for a mid-shelf single, and drinks are poured on the weak side. Less expensive to drink at the Four Seasons or The Ritz than here - and don't expect anything too fancy. So not worth the hit on your wallet if you're a drinker. I don't think they've figured out they could make more profit by adjusting their prices because the volume would go up significantly - then again, the owners/staff are not John Taffer material.

The bartenders and waitstaff are nice, but slow and inexperienced. It's like going over to your 67 year old aunt's house and she offers to make you a cocktail - then she is fumbling around her late husband's liquor cabinet trying to figure out how to make your drink and pours it on the light side in the slow lane. Bless her heart.

This place is a small, charming neighborhood bar with limited space, an awkward layout where many of the tables have you sitting half wrapped around a major post. It seems more of a local social spot to the condo tower residents above it. Give it a try, and you'll see what I mean.

So my date and I went here on a whim since it was so late at night and it ended up being the perfect, intimate spot. We only wanted drinks. I'm going to be honest, we drove around this place a few times because we didn't realize that it was inside a condo building. It's all good though. It added to the adventure.

We walk into the building and a woman at the entrance was like, "Yall must be looking for Bernie's". I bet this is a common question. Thanks to her for helping us find it. We get to the bar and it's so cute and it was the spot that was needed. It's a private bar but it doesn't take much to become a member.

It's very quaint and honestly reminded me of place that the cool, more mature people frequent. I'm not mad at it.

I ordered my usual old fashioned and they did it so so good, omg...smokey orange flavor. Just perfect. He ordered the long island and it was pretty tasty. Fyi, this is only a drink spot. No food.

It's a bit dim. It's chick with nice tables, chairs, and sofas. It gave me a mid century vibe with a bit of art deco. Like these are my fav decor types! I will return.

A true hole in the wall. Unassuming, secluded, and quiet. Perfect place for a chill cocktail. Proper barman and selection of drinks, which is shockingly hard to find in DFW

Came in, stood and waited 15 minutes at the bar without service. Both bartenders continued to deliberately show preference to "regulars". After 15 min left; can't review the quality of their drinks only their service which was so bad I left

Went here based on the suggestion of a friend she didn't look that much into it. The atmosphere is nice, and the staff are friendly. I think the target demographic skews older, I could be wrong because this was my first time here. My friends ordered drinks and they said it was just ok. I had a taste of one and wasn't a fan. I ordered the spinach dip and instantly regretted it when it came to the table but I was hungry and just decided to suffer through it. It was served cold and with saltine crackers for $10. I'd put money on it that they got it from the grocery store and I basically paid for the whole container. With so many great bars cocktail bars in Dallas I have no reason to come back.
