This was the most humiliating and traumatizing experience I've ever had in NYC. I purchased a pre-paid ticket through LAZParking.com (LAZ operates the garage), which arrived as a QR code. Easy! (In fact, "Pay. Park. Easy." is the LAZ slogan...) But when you get there, there is no QR reader in sight, nor any instructions on how to use the QR code. You just have to take a ticket.
When I exited, a man at the office on the first floor told me to simply present the code and my parking ticket to him upon exit. Easy enough! But when I arrived at the exit, there was nobody there...just a bunch of attendants in a glass room who were indifferent to the cars outside. I pressed the 'call attendant' button at least a dozen times before anyone answered, and what I got was an irritated worker who informed me that there was "nobody at that exit" (THAT exit? I followed the only exit signs that I saw). I had to get my ticket validated on the second floor, he said. What?
The attendant then erroneously told me that my QR code was from a third party app and needed to be validated--it was NOT from a third party, and I have the receipt to prove it. He refused to accept that. I asked how it was possible to get to the second floor, since I was at the exit, with another car behind me, and no way to turn around in any event. He seemed to want me to either back up the ramp, or park my car, get out, and go to the second floor, but I had my two young kids in the back, and there really wasn't anyplace to pull to where I could open my door to get out anyway. I explained this. It didn't help. "You have to go to the second floor."
I can't GET to the second floor. I have prepaid my ticket. I have followed the instructions given to me in the office on the first floor. As it became increasingly obvious that nobody was coming to help, and that there was zero interest in providing anything even remotely resembling customer service, I began to have a panic attack. You can't just detain paying customers in a parking garage because you don't feel like being bothered. So I left, with the matter unsettled, somewhat forcefully. I regret spending the $48.40, will never park here again, and encourage others to avoid it as well.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sabrina G.Midtown West, New York, NY02Apr 16, 2023
Reasonably priced parking lot in the area. Ramp is narrow but easy to get around and nicely lit.

Look there's no such thing as cheap downtown parking in Manhattan if it's a weekday during normal working hours so be prepared to pay $30+. The nice thing about this garage is you could park your vehicle yourself which is nice because who wants some random stranger in your vehicle.
For the most part this place looks visibly clean and not shady at all and could easily be accessed by at least two of its entrances.
Remember where you parked! I believe each zone is colored and lettered to help find your vehicle.
I will be using this place if I need to park downtown again. Use it!Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - Joyce H.Fairfield, CT010Jan 28, 2020
I was so happy to find this garage .. after dealing with all the construction, double-parked trucks and crazy hodge-podge narrow streets in the area .. before an appointment at the U.S. Custom House today.
I liked everything about it. It is a huge, park-your-own-car garage (which I prefer) and well-lit, and the floors are color-coded to help you find your car later. You pay via a vending machine (very efficient), and it has amazingly clean restrooms .... always a major plus after a long drive. I don't get to lower Manhattan often, but I will surely use this garage whenever I am back there.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Allison B.Astoria, NY120Sep 25, 2019
DON'T DO IT. This is seriously the worst experience I've ever had. It takes forever to find a spot, and then to get out because it's so poorly marked. I got charged an extra $15 (at first they tried to say it was $22) because I took too long to get my car out- but by the time the elevator comes and you find your car and find your way out of the maze, it's ridiculous!!! Go elsewhere, trust me.

Horrible service. Went into the garage to park my car . No attendant was in site so I waited. When he arrived , he rudely said "just throw the key in the car". A minute later , his colleague came out and said we don't have space . Okay, I'll get outta there and will never return .

Great experience! At the time is was $22 for eight hours of parking. Great value to park all day and explore the financial district.

First, I was surprised how little info I found on parking in lower Manhattan. I could not figure out where to park. I stayed at the W Hotel and the doorman gave me a different location to park, on the opposite side of Route 9. I said I'm staying for three days, so he recommended this place. It's only two blocks straight down from the W. Not sure if the pricing, I booked online with SpotHero before I drove down. The parking garage is huge. Multiple floors, multiple parking areas on each floor. It can be confusing, but you park your own car. It was filled, but more spaces as you climb higher. Just remember where you parked. For three days I paid $84. Not bad, and the garage was almost empty when I left. Not sure what was up with that.

Reasonably priced, lots of parking, clean, but very confusing. Poor signage, with no markers indicating where your car is parked. Minimal arrows to point the way to the exit, and when you get to the exit even then it's hard to get out. You have to pay before you go get your car at a machine in the lobby. Hopefully you can find the machine. Giving it three stars for its location and its price.

Just an FYI, this is an MTA B&T owned garage and operated by licensed vendor. Its inspected by state inspectors. Its the best location to park Downtown MN.
