The Pharmacy staff has always been great. I appreciate them being threre and being so kind, even when things are really busy.

I have been a volunteer for Big Brothers/Sisters for nearly four years, and it is one of the best things I have every done. Volunteering has greatly enhanced the quality of my life.
Your staff at Albertson's is great, especially the patient people in your deli and meat departments. You also have a great wine department. - May 25, 20242 check-ins
I actually really like this store. Honestly, I didn't expect much, it was surprisingly good.
This is one of the worst supermarkets I've ever shopped at. Unfortunately, it's also the closest and most convenient to me (at the moment), so I shop here reluctantly.
It's not modern, or the best in any manner, but here are the positives:

* Really good prices, at least, compared to NoCal
* Really good selection (produce, wines, grains, meats)
* VERY nice service

Sadly, this is not a positive review.
I bought a cake there just now and planned on taking it to dinner to celebrate a friend's Bday.
The box the cake was placed in did not fit and there was no plastic trim around the Tiramisu Bar Cake so even though my home is near the store, the cake did not make it home in good condition.
I cannot present a cake that's almost falling apart to a friend at dinner so it was a waste of $.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - S K.Paso Robles, CA162Feb 20, 2024
digital coupon prices are deceiving if you don't shop there frequently.
you get charged regular price unless you have the digital coupon.
The deli section has bozos working there. they don't know the difference between a thigh and a breast. Apologetic but still came home with thighs instead of breasts.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 9, 2024
If you ever need groceries in Paso Robles, you're probably going to shop at this Albertsons. I went with my girlfriends to get provisions for a weekend in town and found nothing to complain about.
We had an easy list: lemons, bananas, eggs, Coke, coconut water, sparkling water, regular water, wine. The store was pretty nice and everything was self-explanatory except the wine. Thankfully, the Paso Robles Albertsons has a robust, well staffed wine section, where we were able to get some useful guidance. The guy working there was helpful, and I think was also conducting a wine tasting. We went home with a couple of local bottles, which we polished off that night.
This grocery store has a captive audience, but it seems to serve its purpose well enough, with a great wine section to boot. I'm sure I'll be back to this Albertsons next time I'm in Paso.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jan 17, 2024Updated review
The five stars is for Steven in the Deli & his enthusiasm for chicken wings. But I'm sure he's enthusiastic about pretty much everything. His customer service is awesome & I hear his male coworkers are also very friendly. Though it's weird, the female coworkers not so much. Especially the short curly haired one. She seems very annoyed to even have to talk to her customers. Talking to friends. We've talked about how great Steven is but at the same time everyone mentioned this rude woman & described her as the same one. Steven needs to give her customer service lessons!

In fact, their local wine selection is stellar and if you don't have time to go wine tasting and need to grab some quick bottles for any reason, I'd totally recommend them for your first stop.
But this review is about the prepared Turkey Dinner for the holidays.
Oh my gosh we were so disappointed. My husband insisted on doing it this way, this year because I had to work the day before and the day after and our guest list had grown to 20. Bless his heart, he thought that he and my daughter would set up and do most of the work. And they totally did! They really pitched in this year. So that saved a lot of work on my part.
And then there was the dinner.
The turkeys came cooked but frozen and vacuum packed. The mashed potatoes were Albertson's frozen (TV dinner caliber) mashed potatoes as was the stuffing. There were no extras such as sweet potatoes or veggies, They said that they used to include more in a premium package but now they don't. So personally I feel that it took just as much time to coordinate the heating and the warming and the prices were almost triple for the turkeys. We bought 3 and as I said, we were shocked to find everything frozen!
Sooo just a heads up. I felt that It was a total rip off all around for the money and the prep time that was supposed to be so convenient. (We didn't even get to sleep in because they were cooking the turkey, we were told to get there by 6AM to pick everything up. I guess the only thing that I felt saved me time was peeling the potatoes. But then, I could have just gone and grabbed some of their frozen potatoes myself. I didn't need it included in the total price for double what I'd have paid buying everything by shopping for it myself.
Also it was totally wierd... you ordered and you didn't pay until you picked it up. You weren't given a recipt or an order number so it kind of freaked me out knowing that I was responsible getting turkey to 20 hungry family members and loved ones!
I do have to say that everything tasted fine. Not over the top great but it didn't suck. - Brooke M.El Paso de Robles (Paso Robles), CA02May 4, 2024
The Folks that pick the online orders from the app and deliver them to your car were incredible - specifically the manager of the department and the lady with the glasses (I'm sorry I didn't get your names) They were clearly completely understaffed and had way too many orders even for a full staff and they made time to make my order work out. I may not have come off as the nicest so my apologies

I want to thank, Linda Cook for her outstanding help in the liquor store department. She has worked there for decades and always goes above and beyond to help me. She is so knowledgeable about her liquor department. Thank you for going above and beyond to assist me!

Fix your carts sensors... had a grocery cart lock up on me, full of groceries. Had to skate it on two wheels to get it to the car. Froze up on the parking lot, middle of path of traffic. If it was my wife what is she suppose to do? Leave it and carry her groceries 200ft? I'm guessing I'm not the only one this happened to. Theirs a bunch of carts just thrown about everywhere.

Three years in a row that we will not be able to buy the supplies needed for thanksgiving. No brown and serve rolls, an other needed items. Poorly managed. No turkeys. Sad, it's really the only grocery store in town. What I wouldn't give to have a Ralph's.

Ordered a chocolate cake and got a white cake. Once you pick up a cake it's too late to make corrections. How hard is it to make the correct cake?
