It's time for the changing of the YAIAA divisions, but the real differences won't be felt until next spring.

In keeping with tradition, the YAIAA has adjusted some of the divisions because of changes to school enrollment. These changes will be in effect for the next two school years.

Outside of baseball and softball, which are both going from four divisions to three, Northeastern is involved in all of the other changes. The Bobcats are moving from Division II into Division I in field hockey, girls' soccer, volleyball and basketball to accommodate their increased female enrollment.

Spring Grove is headed in the opposite direction for this cycle. The Rockets will play in Division II for girls' soccer, volleyball and basketball.
