Man injured in shooting on the PA Turnpike in Lancaster County: state police

State Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Friday afternoon on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Lancaster County, according to a news release.
A 40-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the head, state police said. He was taken to Reading Hospital for treatment.
Troopers responded to the shooting around 1:15 p.m. Friday in the area of mile marker 291.3 on the eastbound side of the Turnpike in Brecknock Township.
Anyone who was traveling in the area around 1:10 p.m. or has information about a road rage incident or suspicious activity involving an unknown vehicle and the victim's white flatbed truck is asked to call state police at (717) 290-1961.
