York City Police locate driver and vehicle in hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian

Update on May 22, 2024: York City Police have located the vehicle and the driver, according to a news release.

Reported on May 21, 2024:

A car struck a pedestrian in downtown York earlier this month, and police are seeking help from the public with the investigation into the hit-and-run crash, according to a news release.

The pedestrian was struck around 12:25 p.m. May 9 in the area of George and Market streets, the release states.

The vehicle, which appears to be a royal blue Honda Civic with an unknown Pennsylvania registration, was last seen traveling east on Market Street and turning onto North George Street, police said.
