Four-star edge rusher commits to Kentucky
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) - Homegrown product and four-star edge rusher Javeon Campbell committed to Kentucky on Tuesday, according to 247sports.

Campbell is the top ranked recruit in the state in 247sports’ recruiting rankings for the class of 2025. The Wildcats now have the top two ranked recruits in the state of Kentucky with Campbell and Martels Carter for the class of 2025.
Campbell is from Frankfort and plays for Western Hills High School. He chose the Wildcats after previously receiving offers from Notre Dame, Ole Miss, and Oregon.
In nine games played for Western Hills last season, Campbell amassed 12.5 sacks. That was the eighth-most sacks recorded, according to KHSAA.
