WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WYMT) - On June 27, 2024, the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested Tanner Isaiah Caine Petrey, 24, related to a child sexual abuse material investigation.

Petrey was interviewed due to the investigation in relation to a complaint that the suspect was sharing sexually explicit images of minors to an online social media account.

Petrey is currently charged with 20 counts of distributing matter portraying a minor over 12 but under 18 in a sexual performance. The charge is punishable with one to five years in prison.

Petrey was taken to the Whitley County Detention Center.
