Six people facing charges following narcotics search

CLAIBORNE CO., Tenn. (WYMT) - Six people were arrested after law enforcement agencies collaborated to perform a search warrant of narcotics.

On June 5, detectives with the Claiborne County Narcotics Division, Criminal Investigations Division, S.R.T. Team and the Tazewell Police Department executed the search warrant at a home on 307 Old Kentucky Road in Tazewell.

Officials with the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Matthew Young, Joyce Young, Joshua Love, Michelle Violet, Robert Davis, and Robert Bussell were arrested.

Officials said detectives recovered methamphetamine packaged for resale, illegal prescription pills, and paraphernalia during the search.

Matthew Young, Joyce Young, Love, Violet, Davis, and Bussell were charged with various misdemeanor and felony crimes resulting from the investigation of illegal sale of narcotics.
