Zach Rainey

Zach Rainey joined WYFF 4 in April 2023.

Zach graduated from Tri-County Technical College with a degree in Applied Science in May 2023. He also received three certificates in Media Arts including Digital Production Techniques, Audio Production and Graphic Communications.

As an Upstate native, Zach grew up watching WYFF 4. Originally, Zach went to college for Electrical Engineering before changing his major in hopes of becoming a Radio DJ. After entering the Media Arts program, he fell in love with the news and never looked back.

Zach joined the team as a News Editor for the morning weekend shows and worked his way up to the evening weekend shows. He took an interest in the internet side of things and trained to become a Digital Content Producer in April 2024.

During Zach’s free time, he can be found at home with his two cats. He also enjoys attending concerts and spending time with friends and family.
