Gabrielle Komorowski

Anchor/Reporter

Gabrielle joined the WYFF 4 family in September of 2010. She is the co-anchor of WYFF News 4 at 4 and 4:30pm with Jane Robelot. She came from another Hearst Television station, WPTZ, where she worked first as a weekend anchor, and then on their morning broadcasts for two years before being promoted to the 5:30 pm anchor/reporter position.

Gabrielle is an Emmy award winning journalist. She has also been honored with a regional Edward R. Murrow Award for Feature Reporting. Gabrielle has also been awarded First Place from The Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas for Feature Reporting. Gabrielle has received awards for Best Investigative Report and Best Feature Report from the South Carolina Broadcasters Association. She also won a New York State Associated Press Award for Best Feature Reporting.

Gabrielle became a Riley Fellow for taking part in the Riley Institute at Furman University's Diversity Leaders Initiative.

Gabrielle got her start in television news at KEYC in Mankato, Minnesota. She was a weekend anchor and reporter and was a "one man band," shooting, writing, and editing stories herself as well as producing and anchoring newscasts.

Gabrielle grew up in New Jersey and Orlando, Florida. She graduated from Elon University in North Carolina with a BA in Broadcast Communications and a minor in French. She spent a semester studying at the Sorbonne University in Paris.

Gabrielle and her husband are the proud parents of two daughters and a black lab named Dragon.
