Isabelle Marak

Reporter

Isabelle Marak joined WYFF 4 in June 2024 after graduating from the University of Missouri's School of Journalism. Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, she is happy to be back in the South and is excited to immerse herself in the local communities.

During her time at Mizzou, Isabelle worked for two years at the NBC affiliate, KOMU 8 News in Columbia, Missouri. As a multi-media journalist for KOMU 8, she covered national stories such as the student protests at Lincoln University and the death of MU student Riley Strain. Isabelle also covered politics, including LGBTQ+ legislation at the Missouri State Capitol that led to the state-wide ban on transgender care for minors, and the first Republican Caucus in over a decade. After her first year at KOMU 8, she was promoted to weekend morning anchor.

Isabelle is excited to bring her experience and enthusiasm for storytelling to WYFF 4 as a morning reporter on WYFF News 4 Today each weekday morning. She looks forward to meeting WYFF News 4 viewers in the Carolinas and Georgia.

When she is not working, Isabelle likes to read, run and try out new activities and food.
