Impacts from a low-pressure system, also known as Invest 92-L, off the coast of the Bahamas are already affecting the Southeast coast, including the South Carolina coast.Areas along the coast have already seen wind gusts of 40 mph, triggering a small craft advisory and rip current danger for area beaches from Georgia to North Carolina. Expect scattered rain and some storms through the weekend along the coast as well. The system has a 40% chance of development over the next few days as it heads west-northwest towards Florida and Georgia’s coast.
