But our actions are having major impacts, and the consequences could be catastrophic.

Sand mining for sediment used in construction is reducing the fertility of the delta and causing it to sink below the sea level.

Threats to the status of Myanmar’s free-flowing rivers disrupt species migration, block nutrient flow and do not deliver sustainable energy solutions.
