Prime Day is known to be Amazon’s biggest deals event of the year, but a week before Amazon’s exclusive sales event, another major retailer will be holding what it's calling “its largest savings event ever.” Walmart announced it will be having “Walmart Deals” the week before Prime members can participate in Amazon’s two-day sales extravaganza. Starting Monday, July 8 at 5 p.m. ET, shoppers can take advantage of thousands of deals on popular items from electronics, home, toys, travel and more, including must-haves for heading back to school.
