Pittsburgh cooling centers open: Where you can go for relief
Cooling centers have opened throughout Pittsburgh and Allegheny County as temperatures continue to increase throughout Western Pennsylvania.
With temperatures climbing potentially beyond 95 degrees, Citiparks is opening cooling centers Monday, June 17 through Friday, June 21.
The shelters will be open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
On Wednesday, Juneteenth, the cooling centers will be open from noon to 7 p.m.
