Suspects crash stolen car into Tennessee gun store, lead officers in multi-county chase

No firearms were stolen from the store.
A gun shop in Chapel Hill was closed after a group of thieves broke into the store early Tuesday morning.

CHAPEL HILL, Tenn. (WSMV) - A Chapel Hill gun store was broken into after suspects crashed a stolen car into the building, according to the Chapel Hill Police Department.

Police said Echo 3 Armory was broken into Tuesday morning. Officers responded quickly and pursued the vehicle into Davidson County.

Detectives are working with the Metro Nashville Police Department to process the crime scene.

The store said no firearms were taken due to its security protocols.

“At this time we are going to close for the day until we can evaluate the damage. A big thanks to the fast response of Chapel Hill Police dept,” Echo 3 Armory said.
