Human remains found in Shelbyville, police said

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Shelbyville Police Department said human remains were found on Monday morning.
The remains were found near Old Nashville Dirt Road.
Police said the identity of the remains is not known at this time. They added that the investigation is ongoing.
“At this time, no further information will be released. We appreciate your understanding and will provide updates as they become available,” police said.
