HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man was arrested after a police chase through a bowling alley Tuesday night, according to the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office.

Dan Brewster Jr. is facing a slew of charges, including drug-related offenses and fleeing police.

A deputy tried to pull Brewster over on West Main Street for several traffic violations, but Brewster allegedly drove away. However, his car was found abandoned on Old Shackle Island Road and Brewster was spotted, so the chase resumed outside Strike and Spare bowling, deputies said.

“Brewster made a dramatic rooftop escape attempt, climbing up via an air unit and leaping into a tree, which resulted in injuries,” the sheriff’s office said on Facebook.

The chase continued inside the bowling alley, where Hendersonville police Tased and arrested Brewster.

Police posted Brewster’s mugshot on its Facebook page with a text overlay that says: “Evading Doesn’t Pay.”
