Low income adults who are over 60 years old can receive a voucher for $36 worth of free produce at the State Farmers Market from Sunday, Aug. 29 through Tuesday, Aug. 31 during specific hours.

Meals on Wheels is distributing vouchers worth $36 in produce (including fruits and vegetables) that can be used at the State Farmers Market through the end of September. This event is part of the Senior Days at the State Farmers Market.

To get one of the vouchers, you'll need to go to the Meals on Wheels booth at the State Farmers Market during the event hours and fill out an application. The vouchers are available for people over 60 who are self-declared low income.

The event hours are:

Sunday, August 29 from 10 am - 2 pm

Monday, August 30 from 9 am - 12 pm

Tuesday, August 31 from 9 am - 12 pm

The vouchers can be used the day of receipt, but they do not have to be used up all at once. They are valid through the end of September.
