The San Antonio Spurs selected North Carolina's Harrison Ingram with the 48th pick in the NBA Draft on Thursday.

Ingram is the first North Carolina player selected in this year's draft.

The 21-year-old is listed at 6-foot-5, 235 pounds.

Ingram transferred to North Carolina this past season, playing in 37 games and starting all but one. He averaged a career-high 12.2 points and 8.8 rebounds per game in his lone season at Chapel Hill.

Prior to his transfer, Ingram played two seasons at Stanford. Ingram will now be part of a young team that's growing, led by NBA Rookie of the Year Victor Wembanyama.
