Heat, humidity continue Wednesday

PITTSBURGH — The remnants of Beryl will push more heat and humidity into the area Wednesday, along with wind gusts up to 30 mph. After a steamy night in the 70s, temperatures will quickly climb back into the 80s with tropical moisture from Beryl combining to make it feel more like the mid to upper 90s. A Heat Advisory may be issued.

Isolated showers and storms will still be possible mid-morning through early afternoon, and though not widespread, any storm could bring a severe weather threat. Have a way to stay weather-aware throughout the day and plan for the possibility of quickly changing weather conditions.

Many areas may stay dry throughout the day and any rain chances will wind down during the early afternoon.

A brief run of less humid, more comfortable weather will be with us Thursday and Friday before hot and humid weather returns this weekend.
