AirAsia wins the top Award for the World’s Best Low-Cost Airline 2024. The World’s Top 5 Low-Cost Airlines 2024 include Scoot (2nd), Volotea (3rd), Flynas (4th) and Transavia France (5th).

Scoot was named the World’s Best Long Haul Low-Cost Airline 2024. The World’s Top 5 Long Haul Low-Cost Airlines include Jetstar Airways (2nd), Norse Atlantic Airways (3rd), Air Canada rouge (4th) and ZIPAIR (5th).

LIFT was voted the Best Low-Cost Airline in Africa 2024. The Top 3 Low-Cost Airlines in Africa include FlySafair (2nd) and Fastjet (3rd).

AirAsia was named the Best Low-Cost Airline in Asia 2024. The Top 5 Low-Cost Airlines in Asia include Scoot (2nd), IndiGo (3rd), Jetstar Asia (4th) and Peach (5th).
Volotea was voted the Best Low-Cost Airline in Europe 2024. The Top 5 Low-Cost Airlines in Europe include Transavia France (2nd), Vueling Airlines (3rd), airBaltic (4th) and Iberia Express (5th).

West Air was named the Best Low-Cost Airline in China 2024. The Top 5 Low-Cost Airlines in China include Spring Airlines (2nd), 9 Air (3rd), Urumqi Air (4th) and Colorful Guizhou Airlines (5th).
Flynas was voted the Best Low-Cost Airline in the Middle East 2024. The Top 5 Low-Cost Airlines in the Middle East include flyDubai (2nd), Air Arabia (3rd), flyadeal (4th) and Jazeera Airways (5th).

IndiGo was voted the Best Low-Cost Airline in India & South Asia 2024. The Top 5 Low-Cost Airlines in India & South Asia include Akasa Air (2nd), SpiceJet (3rd), airblue (4th) and Fly Jinnah (5th).
FlyArystan was voted the Best Low-Cost Airline in Central Asia & CIS 2024. The Top 3 Low-Cost Airlines in Central Asia & CIS include FLYONE (2nd) and HiSky (3rd).

Allegiant Air was voted the Best Low-Cost Airline in North America 2024. The Top 5 Low-Cost Airlines in North America include Sun Country Airlines (2nd), Southwest Airlines (3rd), Air Canada rouge (4th) and Avelo Airlines (5th).

SKY Airline was names the Best Low-Cost Airline in South America 2024. The Top 5 Low-Cost Airlines in South America include JetSMART Airlines (2nd), Gol (3rd), Clic (4th) and Flybondi (5th).

About the 2024 World Airline Awards
The World Airline Awards are independent and impartial, introduced in 1999 to provide a customer satisfaction study that was truly global. Travellers across the world vote in the largest airline passenger satisfaction survey to determine the award winners.
All costs of the Survey and Awards event are paid by Skytrax, and airlines do not pay any entry or registration fee. There are no charges for use of the Award logos and results.
The online customer survey operated from September 2023 to May 2024. The customer survey is provided in English, French, Spanish, Russian, Japanese and Chinese. Over 100 customer nationalities participated in the 2023/2024 survey. Survey entries are screened to identify IP and user information, with all duplicate, suspect or ineligible entries deleted. More than 350 airlines are featured in the final Award results.
