Video: Hot, humid weather with some storm chances in New Hampshire
Heat advisory through eight o'clock this evening for southeastern areas of the state heat index running above 95 for *** few hours this afternoon, eventually fading into the sixties to lower seventies tonight. But not before the chance of *** couple of scattered thunderstorms, we do have impact weather not only for today with that higher heat humidity and the chance of around 30% of some scattered showers and storms, but also the potential for some pockets of heavier rainfall, especially in the northern half of the state tomorrow and into Thursday threat level this afternoon is *** one out of five again, scattered activity coverage at around 30% this afternoon. Heavier downpours will be the main threat, but one or two could have gusty winds or small hail. So the front inches closer moisture lifts northward. That moisture back out through the southern plains is what is left of Barrel as it makes its way to the Great Lakes. It keeps the humidity in place and keeps that potential for some locally heavy rain in the forecast for tomorrow and into Thursday. What you're gonna notice as we go through future cast is it is not everywhere and it is not all the time. And the main push for any sort of heavier rain will likely be confined to the northern half of the state through Thursday afternoon. Behind that humidity remains. And it does mean that there will be just *** small chance each afternoon with temperatures in the eighties to near 90 for *** couple of pop up storms, that will be the air mass that will be around into the weekend. And temperatures again back near 90 early next week.
